The concentration in Interior Design focuses on developing:

• Technical and creative proficiency in interior design, spatial thinking, and design technology, grounded in foundational and intermediate design practice

• An understanding of visual culture, design history, and the aesthetic and functional principles that underpin interior design

• The capacity to develop interior design and lighting projects for community-facing and real-world spatial contexts

• Community-based photography and Blending assignments alongside foundational visual culture and design studies

• Interior design and lighting projects alongside intermediate spatial design and design technology practice
  

Career Opportunities

Junior interior designer or design assistant; space planning and drafting support role; entry-level role in retail or exhibition design environments.
