Fashion Marketing and Media
Program Outcomes
The Concentration in Fashion Marketing and Media focuses on developing:
An introductory understanding of the fashion industry, grounded in professional orientation and communication, together with basic design principles and initial construction skills
An understanding of fashion communication and professional practice, supported by introductory FOH retail practices in a store environment, including participation in monthly events and seasonal markets
The capacity to develop analytical and strategic thinking within a fashion business context, applying foundational principles of fashion marketing, promotion, media, and communication
Active participation in FLY social media activities, developing practical skills in digital communication, content creation, and fashion media
Community and Professional Involvement
Engagement through fashion communication, retail, cultural programming, and media activities for the community alongside foundational communication and professional practice
Community-based experiential learning involvement through store-based activities, monthly events, seasonal markets, and active participation in FLY social media activities
Career Opportunities
Fashion marketing assistant; fashion communication assistant; editorial assistant; social media assistant; digital content assistant; fashion retail assistant; public relations assistant; entry-level roles in fashion marketing, communication, promotion, and media.
