Program Outcomes

The specialization in Fine Arts focuses on developing:

• A foundational studio practice in drawing and painting, grounded in direct observation, visual exploration, and the development of a personal artistic language
  

• An understanding of art history and cultural theory within international and intercultural contexts, including the social, historical, and aesthetic dimensions of artistic production
  

• The capacity for critical reflection on artistic practice through engagement with contemporary artists, exhibitions, and the cultural environment of Florence

Community and Professional Involvement

• Engagement through cultural programming for the community alongside foundational drawing and art history
  

• Community based service learning involvement alongside foundational painting and intermediate drawing

Career Opportunities

Studio assistant or art technician; junior art handler or gallery assistant; entry-level role in arts administration or community arts programming.
